I tried to make a skirt. I like the fabric; the flowers are really bright. I did a lot of firsts on this one. First use of FOE (fold over elastic ) for the waistband, first cutting on the bias, first making a skirt pattern myself. It didn't work out. It sort of looks like a poodle skirt when on. I think I will cut the hem width down by half and try to alter the whole thing.
